TEASER TUESDAYS is hosted by ShouldBeReading and asks you to:
♠Grab your current read.
♠Let the book fall open to a random page.
♠Share with us two (2) “teaser” sentences from that page.
♠You also need to share the title of the book that you’re getting your “teaser” from … that way people can have some great book recommendations if they like the teaser you’ve given!
♠Please avoid spoilers!
Today's Teaser comes from "Darcy and Anne: Pride and Prejudice Continues..." by Judith Brocklehurst
page 95:
"It always seems very unfair to me," said Elizabeth, "that if a woman reads novels, she is called frivolous; and if she reads more serious works, she runs the risk of being called a blue-stocking."
"And if she reads nothing at all," said Darcy, "whatever she is called, she will be very stupid indeed." Anne had to bend her head to hide a smile.
I just loved this quote!! Don't forget to come back later today for Part Two in the Publishing series. All you book bloggers need to put your two cents in ;)
